Safe guarding

At Nurturing Somerset Together, the safety and wellbeing of all participants, including parents, babies, and families, is our top priority. We are committed to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment in all our antenatal and postnatal classes.

Our Commitment

• We take all reasonable steps to protect participants from harm, abuse, or neglect.

• All staff and facilitators undergo relevant safeguarding and background checks.

• Our team is trained to recognise and respond appropriately to any concerns regarding the safety and wellbeing of children, babies, or vulnerable adults.

Reporting Concerns

If you have any concerns about the safety or welfare of a participant, please contact us immediately. All concerns will be treated seriously, confidentially, and in accordance with current safeguarding laws and guidance.

Whilst an individual is within our care, if we come across anything that gives rise to a safeguarding concern, we have a duty of care to report this through the appropriate channels.
